Growing up surrounded by diverse flavors, William was naturally drawn to the intersection of French refinement and Japanese subtlety. This passion led him to the kitchens of Robuchon, where he honed his craft under the rigors of 3-Michelin-star standards.
For the past decade, William has been a driving force behind the global expansion of the Akira Back brand. From Jakarta to Riyadh and Bangkok, his persistence and technical expertise have been instrumental in establishing several high-profile locations. With a deep understanding of both the kitchen and the wine cellar bolstered by a WSET Level 2 certification, William continues to bridge the gap between complex techniques and approachable, world-class dining.
